1 . Identify the Product / Buyer

2 .Formation of the Company

3 .PAN Number

4 .I .E .Code

5 .Become a member in the Export Promotion Council which suits to your product

6 . Fix the price for Export

     1. FOB -Free on Broad

     2. C & F - Cost and Freight

     3. CIF - Cost,Insurance, Freight

(Quote the price in US Dollar / Pound Sterling /Euro /Japan Yen)

7 . Payment Terms Fixation
   
     1. Advance Payment
   
     2. Letter of Credit (L/C)
   
     3 .Document against Payment
 
     4. Document against acception (D.A)

8. Get Export Order /Letter of Credit

     1. Price (Seaport/Airport to be mentioned)
   
      2. Date of Shipment
   
      3. Made of Payment

9 . Bank finance for Export -Packing Credit etc..,

10 .Insurance -ECGC policy to cover all the risk.Also to verify the Credit worthiness of your Buyer.

11 .Check the quality of the product. Collect sample, test for the quality. Test should by by Inspection Agencies accepted by the buyer .

12 .Pack the product as per the buyer requiremen

13 .Prepare invoice & packing list and it to Shipping Agent by mail.

14 .Send the materials to customs godown at the port with the assistance of shipping agent.

15 .Collect the following documents from shipping agent.

        1 . Invoice                            -one
        2.  Packing list.                    -one
        3.Bill of lading (B/L)           -3 original + 4 Duplicate
        4.Certificate of origin.       - 3 copies
        5. Phytosanitory Certificate.    -one only
        6 .Shipping bill for export
             
               a) Exporter copy.             -  one
               b) Banker copy.                 - one
           
         7. Insurance Certificate.        - one
   

16. Submit the documents with your Banker for Payment collection /Get post shipment assistance from Bank.

17. Submit the necessary documents to the Exports Council / Agency to get incentive / subsidy.
